Intergroup (IG)
We are the Central New Mexico Intergroup (#09024) which provides services to OA meetings in the Greater Albuquerque Metropolitan Area, Las Cruces, Alamogordo and Gallup in New Mexico, and Durango in Southern Colorado. We are part of Region III of Overeaters Anonymous, which is comprised of meetings in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah and southern Nevada including Las Vegas.
CNMI Monthly Intergroup Business Meeting:
- 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 - 10:45 AM
- Local OA meetings are encouraged to send representatives to this monthly business meeting. Intergroup meetings are open to all OA members and all are encouraged to attend.

What is Intergroup?
When several meetings form in an area, they soon realize that they can perform certain functions better together rather than separately. Meetings may form an Intergroup that is directly responsible to the groups it serves. Intergroups spring from a need to provide service for a number of local meetings and help distribute information about OA in a community. The Intergroup elects annual Board Positions and Committee Chairpersons to distribute Intergroup responsibilities. Intergroup Representatives are elected by each meeting to attend and participate in the Intergroup meetings and responsibilities.
